First, let's discover our instrument. Each pad corresponds to a specific drum sound.

The red pad is what we call a 'kick'. It's that heavy drum sound that gives the tempo in a lot of songs!

Instructions:

1. Hit space to get the recorder running. What you hear is called the metronome, it gives you the rhythm!

2. Play the kick pad each 2 counts of metronome.

3. Right after your last kick, hit space again to stop recording the loop.

Awesome! You just did your first loop, enjoy it, cherish it, cause now you're going to do more on that!

The orange pad represents the snare. It goes very well when played between kick sounds!

Instructions:

1. Hit #2 on your keyboard or click the loop 2 button, now we're on the second track!

2. Play the snare between each of your kicks. You should have the following sequence: kick-snare-kick-snare.

3. Just as you did before, hit space just after playing your loop.
